What we collect from the signup form

• Your email address, and your Discord username if you give it.
• Your answers about your group: the game, group size, how you play today, why you want to switch, and whether anyone plays on console.
• Anything you write in the “anything else” box.

Why

To contact you about setting up your group during early access, and to decide which groups to set up first. We don’t sell it, and we don’t use it for advertising.

Where it’s stored and who sees it

In a database on Railway (US). Only the Campout team can see it. When someone signs up, we get a notification in our private Discord. It includes your answers but not your email address.

How long we keep it

Until you ask us to delete it, or 12 months after we last talked, whichever comes first.

If you become a customer

Running your server means handling things like your group’s chat messages with Campout, player names and server logs. Before your group starts, we’ll explain exactly what’s recorded, who sees it and how long it’s kept. That notice is linked from every join page.

Email hello@campout.gg and we’ll take care of it.
